Cameroon humanitarian situation update
Cameroon continues to face humanitarian crises as a result of the Lake Chad basin conflict, the crisis in the North-West and South-West regions and the presence of Central African Refugees in the eastern regions. Violence, climate hazards, food insecurity are putting millions of people in need of humanitarian assistance.
In September 2022, floods affected over 37,000 people in the Far North region, cholera epidemic continued to affect the Littoral, Centre and West regions, and access to population in need in the South-West and North-West regions continued to be challenging due to insecurity, restriction of movements, and poor road conditions.
